How to Check Your Status

You have three ways to stay informed, with your dashboard being the fastest and most comprehensive:

  1. Primary Method: Your Online Dashboard (Recommended)
    Log into your account at Silencer Marketplace and navigate to “My NFA Transfers.” This provides the complete picture and actionable details.
  2. Automated Notification System
    We will send you proactive email and SMS notifications at every major milestone:

    • When your digital packet is complete and ready for your final review.
    • When your eForm 4 is submitted to the ATF (including the control number).
    • The moment we receive notification of your ATF approval.
    • When your item is ready for pickup at your dealer.
  3. Contacting the ATF NFA Branch
    If you wish to call the ATF NFA Division directly, you will need the following details, all of which are available in your Transfer Dashboard:

    • Your Name/Trust/Corporate Name: Exactly as submitted on the Form 4.
    • Serial Number of the Item: Found in your order details.
    • Transferor Name: This will be “Silencer Marketplace” or the name of our specific affiliate entity as listed in your submission confirmation.
    • ATF Form Control/Application Number: Provided to you upon eForm submission.

    Please note: ATF phone agents can only confirm if an application is pending or approved. They cannot provide detailed status updates or accurate timing estimates, which is why your Silencer Marketplace dashboard is your best resource.

Understanding eForm 4 vs. Paper Form 4 Processes

The process differs slightly depending on your submission method, and your dashboard reflects these differences:
