The Griffin Armament Recce series is a long-standing stable in the silencer industry.  The original Recce line was released in 2012 with the vision of having a compact, durable, accurate, and cost-effective solution for suppressing rifles.  Over the past decade, the line has gone through continuous R&D and improvements.

The latest addition to the family is the Griffin Armament Recce 5K.  It’s a compact version of the standard Recce 5 for shooters who require a smaller footprint and understand the value of reducing additional length on the end of their firearm.  Even with the reduced size, it still is hearing safe with regard to OSHA standards and offers superb flash reduction.

The Recce 5K utilizes Griffin’s patented Eco-Flow baffle system.  This design provides exceptional decibel reduction compared to other designs of similar length and weight.  In addition to sounding good, it also focuses on reduction in backpressure.  Less backpressure translates to a better experience for the shooter with less gas blowback and less wear-and-tear on the firearm components.
