Compatible with both .223 and 5.56, the MK18 RIII’s biggest upgrade is the handguard. The uncomfortable quad-rail has been replaced with a slimmer and lighter M-LOK system. The RIS III M-LOK rail included on the MK18 RIII allows for numerous attachments, but without the unnecessary weight and bulk. The rail covers a 10.3″ cold hammer-forged barrel with a 1:7 twist. The 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium Government profile barrel is outfitted with a carbine-length gas system.
The MK18 is one of the most proven small arms, used globally by military and law enforcement. The unloaded SBR is under 6 pounds, and a standard by which many other rifles are judged by.
