The Griffin Armament Universal Taper mount provides a rock solid sound suppressor interface for Recce, PHS, and Sportsman Silencers.

CNC Machined of heat treated 17-4 PH billet material, the Flash Comp and Muzzle Brake Taper Mounts provide a sacrificial baffle to increase the service life of your Recce Precision Hunter, or Sportsman Sound Suppressor.

• The Flash Comp brings market leading muzzle stability and recoil control to the Universal Taper Mount Interface and is not just another muzzle device.  It combines low concussion, recoil, muzzle rise, and mid length flash suppression in one market leading muzzle device.
• The Flash Hider has undergone an intensive R&D resulting in a high performance 3 prong flash hider with incredible resonance reduction. These hide flash extremely well and do not ring or ping when fired.
• Each Brake and Flash Comp come with a shim kit for timing. Flash Hiders do not need to be timed.

NOTE: If intending to run one of our silencers on these flash hiders in a military surplus thread pitch (14x1mm LH (AK) , 15x1mm RH (HK), 9/16×24 LH (metric FAL) a professional gunsmith is necessary to test install and check alignment with the silencer. Many surplus barrels have bad thread work from the factory. Gunsmith service may be required to the barrel in order to achieve proper alignment and in some cases the firearm may not be able to be modified for proper fitment.
